ABSTRACT

The survey method, which is widely preferred in the field of social sciences, has been widely preferred in the field of social sciences with the spread of online and free survey applications; while it is possible to use methods that can produce more reliable results in some studies, it is seen that the survey method is used for these reasons. In this study, Dergipark articles with the phrase “social media” in the title are listed, their methods are determined one by one, and studies using the survey method are examined and critiqued on the axis of whether another method can be used. As a result of the determination made, it was determined that 10 out of 30 scientific articles used the survey method, but other methods could be followed in 9 of these studies. It has been shown to be preferred for many reasons such as low cost, easiness, etc.

ÖZ

Sosyal bilimler alanında çokça tercih edilen anket metodunun, çevrimiçi ve ücretsiz anket uygulamalarının yaygınlaşmasıyla sosyal bilimler alanında çokça tercih edildiği; bazı araştırmalarda daha güvenilir sonuçlar ortaya koyabilecek metotlar kullanmak mümkünken bu sebeplerden dolayı anket metodunun kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, başlığında sosyal medya ibaresi geçen Dergipark makaleleri listelenmiş, yöntemleri tek tek tespit edilmiş ve anket yöntemini kullanan çalışmalar incelenerek, başka bir yöntem kullanılıp kullanılamayacağı ekseninde kritize edilmiştir. Yapılan tespit sonucunda 30 bilimsel makaleden 10 tanesinin anket yöntemini kullandığı ancak bu çalışmaların 9’unda başka yöntemler izlenebileceği tespit edilmiş olup, anket yönteminin maliyet, kolaylık vb. sebeplerden çokça tercih edildiği ortaya konmuştur.
